The sustainable development agenda is integrated into Rosatom 2030 Strategy. The promotion of 17 UN sustainable development goals is explicitly enshrined in the Strategy of Rosatom State Corporation as one of the most important prerequisites for work. In 2020, Rosatom State Corporation joined the UN Global Compact network, which unites sustainable businesses around the world. As part of joining, Rosatom State Corporation confirmed its commitment to implement 10 principles of the UN Global Compact in the field of human rights, labor relations, the environment and the fight against corruption.

The absolute priority of the State Corporation and all its enterprises is the safety of process solutions, working conditions and the environment. Moreover, Rosatom is a socially responsible company, activities of which have a significant economic impact on the situation in a significant number of the regions of the Russian Federation and a number of foreign countries where the construction of nuclear power plants and other facilities is underway.
